Jonno Evans takes his chance

Wicket Keeper/Batsman Jonno Evans, the Oxford under 17 Captain has been promoted from 3rd XI and under 17 Cricket into the Home Counties Premier Cricket League side. Jonno has risen to the challenge and grabbed the opportunity with both hands (well as Wicket Keeper he would)and appears to be enjoying the opportunity of being up to the stumps to likes of Rupert Evans and Shami Mendis. Jonno's keeping has been good and by all accounts he is growing in stature week after week. In week 6 against Slough he show his batting prowess with a classy 39 runs that put Oxford into a winning position. Jonno is a product of the Oxford Youth section and clearly has a very bright future.
