Rupert Evans a former Cowley St John player who joined Oxford CC with the merger of Headington United Cricket Club and Cowley St John. Rupert is a cricketer of distinction, a former Oxfordshire Captain with 447 Minor Counties wickets to his name and our 1st XI Captain until the end of the 2004 season. Wherever you go, people in Cricket will know, and admire Rupert. Not just for his elegant offspin, but for the manner in which he conducts himself. Rupert is our Director of Cricket and one of our best qualified Coaches. Needless to say, Rupert featured in the list of most wicket takers in the Premier league last season, only headed by two "Test Cricketers".
