For the Isolation Cavaliers Sports Club

Various bits of cricket kit donated by Oxford Cricket Club members and Oxon Seniors are now winging their way to the West Indies courtesy of Ross Buchanan.

Ross collected the kit and arranged the logistics to the WIndies.

The kit will be used by the Isolation Cavaliers Sports Club in Barbados.

The Club President, Kevin Vaughan said,

"On behalf of the Isolation Cavaliers Sports Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Oxfordshire County Cricket Seniors and Oxford Cricket Club for your generous donation of cricket kits to support our youth cricket program at our club here in Barbados.

Your contribution will have a significant impact on the development and enthusiasm of our young cricketers.

We are very grateful and look forward to the receiving these charitable cricket kits, which will be instrumental in enhancing our training sessions and matches.

The young athletes are eagerly looking forward to utilizing the new equipment, and we are confident it will inspire them to achieve new heights in their cricketing journey.

Thank you once again for your support and generosity. We deeply appreciate your commitment to fostering the growth of cricket among the youth in Barbados."

Ross Buchanan, OCC and Oxfordshire Seniors legend said,

"To everyone and their families at OCC who donated their kit to OCC this season, it’s now on its way to being personally delivered directly to where I know it’s needed most, an idyllic village club in the north of Barbados, a long way from the more glamorous tourist spots.

A heartfelt thanks from me to all of you for helping make this happen and to allowing me to choke up the changing room showers and the umpires room for a few weeks."

Thanks Ross and good luck to the Cavaliers.
