Rain reduced the much anticipated clash between Oxford CC and Horspath CC to 15 overs a side at Wormsley on Sunday.

Winning the toss and electing to bat OCC reached 85/6 off their 15 with Manan Parmer's 35 of 43 balls being the highlight.

Chasing a run rate of under 6 an over, Horspath never really got going following Brendon Smith's early run out and at one stage were 6 down with only 27 on the board.

A brief flurry from Josh Richardson saw the Path recover slightly but OCC's dominance was restored when Harvey Jupp took quick wickets with his left-arm spin finishing with 3/6 off 8 balls.

An impressive bowling and fielding display secured the win and OCC deservedly lifted the Hartwell Cup to end 2023 on a high.
