Congratulations to all the Grassroots award winners who were presented with their certificates at the Wormsley Ground on finals day this Sunday.
The awards are to recognise the invaluable work done by cricket volunteers around the county.
For OCC the award winners were:
Lucy Upcroft - Inspired to Play - Presented to individuals who go above and beyond to open the game to new audiences. Lucy has led the club's All Stars programme for the last couple of years and has done an amazing job introducing cricket to many young players.
Dylan Swanepoel - Game Changer - Presented to 17-25 year olds who make a difference to the game. Dylan has been tireless in his efforts with our youth academy which helps young players transition to senior cricket as well as being instrumental in leading the club's support of mental health wellbeing.
Rosalyn Porter - Unsung Hero - Presented to those who impact the game and make cricket happen. Ros has been the driving force in girls and women's cricket at OCC for many years and is the reason we have one of the healthiest female cricket sections in the county. In addition, Ros is the club's lead safeguarding officer and supports the club in a myriad of other ways.
Philip "Taffy" Royal - Lifetime Achiever - Presented to those who have given many years of service to a club. Taffy has been our club scorer for quite a while and an active member for even longer. We couldn't do without him!
